Where accelerated and struggling learners alike find their stride — together.
For over 12 years, Learning Lighthouse has been the DFW Mid-Cities' trusted alternative to classroom based education. As the original "Homeschool Schoolhouse" in the area, we've built something rare: a relaxed, multi-age community where kids actually enjoy learning.
We've simplified what matters most — strong reading and math, critical thinking, and real communication skills — free from fads, trends, and stress. Whether your child is academically advanced and needs more challenge without leaving their peer group, or needs individualized support to build confidence and mastery, Learning Lighthouse meets them exactly where they are.
Come see why DFW families have trusted us for over a decade.
Now Enrolling — Limited Openings Available
We meet August through May, Tuesday–Thursday, 9:15am–2:00pm in a private home near N. Tarrant and Rufe Snow in Keller (76248).
Space is intentionally limited to keep our groups small and our instruction personal. Check our Openings to see current availability.

12 Years Strong Since 2012, our students have made consistent, measurable progress in core academics and interpersonal skills. Our graduates leave well-equipped for any path they choose — because we focus on true understanding and mastery, not test prep or trends.

No two students are alike, and we don't treat them that way. Accelerated learners stay engaged and challenged while remaining with their age group. Students who need extra support receive one-on-one instruction at their own pace. Every child gets the plan they actually need.

Our instructors bring years of experience and genuine love for teaching. Through hands-on lessons, physical activity, and real-world application, we build critical thinkers and confident communicators — not just test-takers.

Busy Bees / Beginners | Ages 5–7 Our youngest learners get a rich, joyful introduction to academics in a nurturing environment. From phonics and handwriting to hands-on science, literature, and recess — we build the foundation right, the first time. Fine motor skills, social development, and a genuine love of learning are at the heart of everything we do at this level.

Buiders I / Builders II | Ages 8–11 Our Builders Learning Circle students thrive in our small-group enrichment and individually-paced core academic lessons. With one-on-one instruction and a focus on real understanding — not just memorization — students build long-term mastery in math and reading alongside critical thinking skills. Geography, history, literature, and hands-on science bring relevance and excitement to every lesson.

Expedition | Ages 12–14 Our new teens dive deep. Math, English, History & Geography, Science with Labs, ASL, Arts, and electives are taught with real-world connections — because subjects don't exist in isolation, and neither do the skills students need for life. Critical thinking, research, writing, projects, and presentations prepare them for whatever comes next.

This is a Guided Study Group — not a class. Students work independently on their own curriculum while enjoying a social setting, lunch together, recess, and enrichment activities. Parents take turns volunteering on a rotation, so some days you can drop off your child while other parents supervise.
